Courier and logistics

A courier's phone rings hardest when the riders are out and the team is busy dispatching, and most callers just want to know where a parcel is. The assistant takes pickup requests, answers prices and cut-off times, and notes the tracking number and a mobile number so a team member can call back with a real answer.

What it handles

  • Pickup requests with the area, parcel size and a preferred window
  • Parcel questions: the tracking number and a mobile number are noted for a callback
  • Approved prices, cut-off times, weight limits and prohibited-item rules
  • Redelivery, address-change, proof-of-delivery and claim-window questions

When it hands over to a person

  • A parcel is reported lost or damaged, or a caller wants compensation
  • A refund, a price match or a complaint about a rider
  • Customs, dangerous goods or oversized cargo questions beyond your FAQ

What it never does

  • Says where a parcel is, or promises a delivery time
  • Quotes a price that is not on the approved list
  • Asks for NRIC numbers, card details or passwords by phone
